The Client Situation

A global logistics group had gone through a period of significant reorganisation and relocation of key functions which presented an additional set of risks to the portfolio of change programmes underway at the time. At the global level and reporting to the operating board of the company, the challenge was to find a Programme Director capable of incisive programme review and assurance.

What Armadillo did

Within 48 hours of receiving the request, we supplied an ex Partner from a leading global consulting firm. The Consultant had highly specialist knowledge of risk, programme assurance and QA of multi-million pound initiatives.

The Consultant traveled extensively to conduct in-country reviews building up extensive knowledge of the individual programmes and aggregated the risks within the layers of the portfolio.

The Consultant was able to map and identify key risks and escalate to the senior team where appropriate. His experience and stature allowed him to assess and communicate with all levels within the organisation.

The Consultant completed the initial assessment for the client before accepting an extension to deliver a major programme as a Programme Director.
