The Client Situation
A global software group had gone through a period of significant growth, reorganisation and acquisition - all of which contributed to a rapidly changing environment for its employees. The challenge was to create a Compensation and Benefits function within HR that allowed the organisation to attract and retain the best people whilst integrating the various acquisitions.
What Armadillo did
Within 48 hours of receiving the request, we supplied an experienced Compensation & Benefits Consultant from the Armadillo Resource Network. The Consultant had extensive blue chip experience in running global C&B functions in complex organisations.
Arriving at a critical point in the planning and budgeting the cycle, the Consultant was able to add immediate value by ensuring that all variables had been adequately scoped and factored into future plans. This significantly improved the budget timeline.
The Consultant quickly became an integral member of the HR team adding significant value through his experience, knowledge and hands-on education of the Client’s team.
The Consultant enjoyed two extensions with the client before accepting a permanent post as the Director for the EMEA region.
The Result
The consultant was able to navigate the client through some very complex negotiations and provide first class insight into industry and function best practice. This enabled the client to plan in each of their major markets and made a significant difference to the running of the business.
